Joel Hubert joined Merrimac Ventures in 2023 and currently serves as an Acquisitions Associate. He is responsible for underwriting new development opportunities and company investments. Joel also plays a key role in the asset management and analytics of the firm’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Merrimac, Joel was a Senior Underwriter at Meridian Capital Group. At Meridian, he negotiated and structured more than $600 million in commercial real estate financings.

Mr. Hubert holds a BA in Accounting from CUNY Queens College and a Master of Science in Real Estate from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.
