Diego joined Merrimac Ventures in 2022. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Accounting with a focus on real estate and finance. Diego is responsible for preparing financial statements, analysis of balance sheet accounts, analysis of construction P&L accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivables.

Diego was born in Peru and moved to Florida at the age of 11. His passion is numbers, and this drive has pushed him to explore various accounting and logistics positions in the business world. Prior to Merrimac, Diego worked in the purchasing department for the Seminole Tribe of Florida as an invoice control specialist and later as an underwriter for unsecured business cash advancements and merchant cash advances. He also worked logistics as a junior accountant for Reach International Inc, supervising ocean shipments and land deliveries across state and country lines as well as coordinating the ERP system to the accounting department processes to meet production and financial goals for the entire company.
