For over 35 years, Merrimac Ventures has been building communities and advancing cities. Merrimac’s roots are in the hospitality sector, having acquired and developed numerous hotel assets throughout its history. However, when Merrimac identified strong return opportunities in the multifamily sector, it quickly grew the multifamily division and is now a premiere multifamily developer with many successful projects completed and a robust pipeline of future developments. In addition to these core competencies, Merrimac specializes in select condominium development and retail opportunities. It is the culmination of this expertise that manifests in Merrimac’s mixed-use developments, transforming neighborhoods and creating communities through their thoughtful market and product analysis. Successful projects include Miami WorldCenter and the Las Olas Riverfront redevelopment.

Merrimac continues to expand its portfolio when unique opportunities present themselves, illustrating the entrepreneurial mindset. When the real estate market crashed in the late 2000’s, Merrimac recognized a unique market opportunity and made its entry into the single family rental market, acquiring over 500 single family rental homes in Atlanta, GA.
